ERTH 152 - Weather and Climate
Weather and Climate is an introductory course in meteorology. We will study the atmosphere, the energy we get from the sun, wind and ocean circulation and weather phenomena such as thunderstorms, hurricanes and tornadoes. Climate Change is an important topic that will be discussed as well as other ways that people and environment influence each other. We will study many graphs and maps and describe what we learn from them.
While the course has no prerequisites, basic English, writing and math skills are assumed.
