Meet Dr. Gullap-Moore
Dr. Charlotte A. Gullap-Moore, DNP, MSN, APRN, ANP-BC, RN is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner who grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Dr. Gullap-Moore and her husband, Jeff A. Moore, MS, MBA, a Senior Data Scientist and Director IT at Abbott, moved to Santa Barbara, CA. in 2011 after living abroad in Shanghai, China, for three years.
She attended Atlantic Community College for two years before transferring to Temple University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and, years later, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with honors – including induction into Sigma Theta Tau | Kappa Chi Chapter. Most recently, Dr. Gullap-Moore received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) – Population Health Leadership from the University of San Francisco.
In her healthcare provider role, she is known as Nurse Practitioner Moore or NP Moore, who delivers primary care and chronic pain management for the adult / geriatric patient population. She has over 20 years of experience serving in the nursing profession, with the past twelve years as owner and CEO of Moore On Health ™. Dr. Gullap-Moore has distinguished herself by representing various nonprofit and nonpartisan organizations while advocating for equitable and sustainable direct access to healthcare-related legislative bills at the stateside and federal levels. In addition, she has completed and continues to serve in board-level leadership roles within and outside of the nursing profession.
Dr. Gullap-Moore is also a part-time faculty lecturer at California State University – Channel Islands Campus / Goleta Extension Nursing Program, instructing baccalaureate and master's degree students.
Her servitude leadership and advocacy experiences align strongly with Santa Barbara City College's Board Trustee responsibilities to support sustainable and equitable access for all students to thrive and the community to flourish. As a member of our nation's largest healthcare profession and most trusted, Dr. Gullap-Moore understands the ethical obligation of implementing due process, utilizing active and advanced listening skills, critical thinking, and intuitiveness to process evidence-based data for making critical decisions.
